Since touching to Tipton in 1931, the Bixler family has owned retail operations in Tipton and the surrounding communities. Today, Bixler At ease Appliances specializes in kitchen and laundry equipment, commonly referred to as white goods. These involve refrigerators, gas and electric ranges, dishwashers, microwaves, freezers, washers, dryers, dehumidifiers and compartment air conditioners. They are a full-line Whirlpool dealer offering additional brands including Maytag, Amana, Position and KitchenAid. David Bixler is a third generation member of the Bixler family, which owns the business.
