my maytag dyer dryer rid of working when i opened it last night to check the clothes it was working and then i closed the door to restart the dryer and it wont start what could the facer be
its not the door switch

One affair that could be wrong is your dryer sensor button that is pushed when the door is shut. It could be malfunctioning and you my need that replaced. At all a wire could have dislodged itself from said button.

How do you open the top of a Maytag Dryer?

I wanted to modify the thermal fuse on my Maytag Model #LDE8200ACW, but I can't figure out how to open the top of the dryer. Several websites state that the top swings bare, but don't say whether the top swings towards the front or the back.

Try the fix up clinic they have diagrams also troubleshooting pages or call their 800 # and talk to the repairman its Free.
