Can a washer and dryer still function if it has been in storage for 2 years?

I bought a label new washer and dryer set from SEARS back in October 2005. I had to put it storage in December 2005 and has been in storage ever since. I'm not a washer and dryer guru but will the washer/dryer still vocation after these years being stored in a storage?
certainly....

Yes. Your hose valve could bad from sitting up check your hoses for dryrott so you dont have a leak and dryer should be fine you might get a burning perfume from dust on the heater coil or possible bug nest but that will go away quickly you should be good to do the laundry.

You should have no delinquent with the dryer, now hook up the washer and run it with no clothes to water test it for leaks. this first test you should not leave the equipment alone in case you find it does let something. if it starts leaking put it in the spin cycle to drain out the water.

Is a whirlpool washer/dryer the same product as a Kitchenaid washer/Dryer?
May 18, 2007 by Kathleen L | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
what is considered a principled washer/dryer? I had great luck with kitchenaid, has kitchenaid been bought out by whirlpool. Some friends has told me that. Is it true?
I'm not unshakeable if they are the same products, model for model, but yes, Whirlpool bought the Kitchenaid line.
At one time Kitchenaid was owned by Hobart, but no more.
I have a Fridgidaire washer & dryer, and they are owned by Electrolux of Sweden. I was told that Electrolux also made front responsibility washers for GE and some other companies. They are well-made, haven't had any problems with them. Take a look at their horizontal front-loading washing apparatus - it is very efficient, uses far less water than a conventional top-loading washer, and has a huge capacity. It also has a very high career spin cycle, which eliminates a lot of water from the clothes, so that drying time is reduced and requires much less forcefulness.

I in need of to get a washer/dryer to hook up in a apartment that doesn't have hookups. I would say the washer would hook up to the sink. How would a dryer work? is it dangerous to use in a garage and where does the lint go?
Leave out the LG Electronics WM3431 Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer. It is a single unit which works on 110 electricity. I'm assuming you don't have 220 at in your apartment as well.
