I have April air humidifier and can't seem to get humidity above 45%. Is that normall?

I have the 700 copy and a 3000sq ft house. It is monted on the plentum. It is turned on highest setting and seems to run when ever firnuce kicks in.
thats meet runs when furnace kicks in there must be alot of dry air in your home with the heat if thats as good as your going to get it i wouldnt grouse the house is a fairly large house so please take it as it comes some days it will go alittle higher

The "conventional" or "ideal" indoor humidity level is about 40-45%. Humidity levels over 45% can indeed be toxic, both directly and indirectly.

Most you don't sing at all, you just replace them. They usually come with a water retaining powder built into them, so your old one probably doesn't have any more potential left in it. Just replace it and you'll be fine! Good luck!
