Normally, one wire connects from the voltage fountain-head to one wire on the humidistat. The wire then goes from the remaining wire on the humidistat to a wire on the humidifier A-one valve. The wire then goes from the remaining wire on the humidifier

Our humidifier isn't working. We opened it up and took out the filter- gross! Could that be the problem?

It is a Bryant 912E humidifier.
yes... if the humidifier screen is clogged then the air cannot pass through. replace the filter with a new one and test it then.. if it still does not work take it back to where you bought it and see what they say.

I have a TRANE 90 furnace and a BRYANT whole gratis by pass humidifier. In simple, easy to follow instructions, can anyone tell me how to wire this?
Not clever the specifics of the control board on your furnace, I think I'd prefer to explain how to do it without using the HUM terminals on the furnace cabinet, if it even has them. The simplest way would be to take 24volts from the furnace transformer,
