Can you use Vicks Vapor Rub or Mentholatum on newborns?

My 11 week old twins keep a mildewy nose! We have humidifiers in every room, and spray there nose with saline constantly. The pediatrician said we can't give them a decongestant or anything like that for a while, since they were so inappropriate. Supposedly

they certify the vicks vapo rub for babies. You can find it at walmart.

Do not put is anywhere they could usurp and then touch and potentially get it in their mouth/eyes! I actually do not recommend Vicks on a newborn. You can actually buy a baby vaporizer that you intercalate the medicine directly into it-then it's circulated

You should in point of fact check with their doctor about the Vicks.
You can put the Vicks in a vaporizer for them. That way you're not putting it on their sensitive skin.

No way, it is way too persistent for them.
Their is baby vicks, but that isn't even rec commended for babies under 3 months old.

I would suction their noses when needed, and use the saline sparingly. Meeting their cribs or bassinet

Vicks was essentials in my family's medicine cabinet....and they make baby vicks now..I have some I got it target....and they sell Vicks that goes in your humidifiers also... I trust that helps...the smell takes me back to my childhood..I rub it on my girls

Saline drops and a suction bulb along with a humidifier/vaporizer. Or you can take them in the bathroom and run the pour. Worked for my sons.

the vapor rub on feet with socks doesn't labour. lol my husband heard about this and said oh yeah it'll work so when we both got sick we did it, when we woke up in the morning we felt scrupulously the same sick!
yes, you can use vapor rub on infants.

No. Even Vicks for babies shouldn't be occupied on babies under 3 months. But using regular Vicks would be worse because the menthol in it could irritate their skin and it would burn and manage for an even fussier baby!

i have a vicks epitome where you can put vapor rub stuff in it. it heats up the mist.

this must use less energy than a space heater, right?

Anything that uses a heating piece uses a lot of energy. The space heater uses more, though, since it has a bigger element. The hotter it gets, the more force it uses.
