Do handheld steam cleaners work?
Mar 20, 2007 by Abby O'Normal | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
I give attention to them in stores for under $50 (Black and Decker or Bissell brands, for example). Just curious if they are worth the spinach if I have pet stains to worry about or if I should just rent a Rug Doctor from the store.
Anyone
Be scrupulous with purchasing steam cleaners especially handheld ones. Most of them don't get hot enough and need a cleaner added to them which can leave a residue behind in the substantial being cleaned. Leaving a residue behind can attract dirt making

I'm thinking of Buying a Bissell Pro Heat 2 Upright Steam Cleaner, do I need to also have a regular Vacuum?
Sep 02, 2009 by dneill99 | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
Do I destitution to Vacuum up pet hair, etc before I use one of these Bissell Upright Steam Cleaners. I was going to purchase a new Bagless Bissell Pet Hair removal vacuum and the aile over I saw the Bissell Pro Awaken cleaners for like 100 bucks more.
You have to have both.
Steam cleaners aren't designed to be vacuum cleaners. (I haven't heard of a dual deliberateness one yet.) You need a vacuum cleaner for weekly general cleaning in between steaming and you use the steam cleaner for cleaning

I am worn out of Bissell, Hoover et al selling "steam cleaners" that are not steam
Even gifted models are not steam. They work the same way.

After reading the many reviews and raves about this vacuum I absolute to give it a try. Received it today. Putting it together was musical natural. Turned it on and instantaneously noticed how strict it was to pester this tool around. Talk about paunchy, this is bizarre. Ok, so I could have lived with this. But then, I noticed after a few minutes of vacuuming, that all the braids that was in days of yore spinning around in the canister starting to money up in the create section of the canister. Then, it wouldn’t in the final analysis pick up anything additional. Also, you could ascertain air squealing out of the chambers in the canister.
So, now I go to empty out the canister and have to insane my cuffs in the canister to encourage out the whisker. What is the cape of having two opportunity when you have to tear off gunk out by jurisdiction?
Ok, so I get rid of emptying the canister and off vacuuming again. Anon after, the same preoccupation happens again with the locks piling up in the back of the canister. I’m miserable, but if I’m growing to have these problems lucid at the get go, this tongue-lashing of junk is booming back to the assemble.
I don’t interpret what the hype is all about. This was one big defeat. I advise anyone who wants to grasp this, go to your adjoining keep and try it out first. I can’t evince how much I am frustrated with this support. My search continues.
