Is there a perfect mop?
May 15, 2008 by Christopher E | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
I've tried everything there is to try. I destitution my floors to be clean, but I don't want to have to be on my hands and knees anymore SCRUBBING them like Joan Crawford scrubbed her floors in Mommie Dearest: "I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the scrap!" :-)
I'm considering a steam mop. Particularly a Bissel. Does anyone have any experience with steam mops? Any other miracle mop that truly does the job?
to clarify: I don't scrub my floors because they're too dirty. I scrub my floors because I'm a sing freak.
As one scrubbed freak to another, no mop will do it right. Just use the time on your hands and knees wisely! Stretch out as far from your body as you can as you scrub, that is huge lower abs workout! (Doctors used to recommend it to pregnant women to strengthen the muscles before expression!)

Me too, I have tried many mops and there is no improve mop! I've used a steam cleaner cum vacuum. It works like magic. The brand is i-Ecologi.

My mom's cleaning lady uses a cuban mop. she says it works high-minded. it is like a piece of wood at the end of the handle and you wrap a dishcloth around it. she says she got it at Publix. (btw- she is not cuban!)

The mop is not as worthy as the soap you use to clean your floors, which is not as important as when you clean them. An old fashioned string mop kept handy with a pint-sized bucket for dishwashing detergent will keep your floors shining bright.
Follow with a clear water moistness mopping (same mop) and do it as soon as you spill something or otherwise weekly and you won't have to do any scrubbing.

Is Nature's Miracle the best out there for removing pet odors?
Aug 15, 2006 by hazeleyedbeauty1967 | Posted in Dogs
I tear a wall to wall carpeted apartment and I am potty training my dog and, of course, she goes on the rug and the floor. Is this stuff ok to use in a steam cleaner? My kitchen floor is getting an odor also. Will this smell go away?? I alternate whitener mopping with this stuff on the kitchen floor to try to disinfect. This stuff worked great on the mattress, but it seems like its prepossessing a long time to work on the rug and floors. Is this normal, since she keeps going in the same spots?
i worked with a helpmate who bought a house that she said stinked like dog... anyway she used Nature's miracle in a steam cleaner.... after it dried she went over it again... she said it worked... i heard nothing but things things about it from ppl when I was working at the pet supply store.

I've tolerant of all sorts, direct spray, wipes and diluting stuff, used a fancy mop that pomised miracles and even on my hands and knees with a textile to wash and then dry the floor but still my socks get filthy on it
vinegar and not make sense is the best you might have to go over it couple of times but it will make your floor shine and smell good also.1 cup of vinegar to a gallon of tone down.
