Preparing for retirement not just about money Gloucester Daily Times

If you're in your 50s, you may already be pensive about retirement. You may be researching the cities with the lowest tax rates, or the best climate, or even the best golf courses. Planning is about making the most of the ready money and resources you have and making them last.

However, not many people give much thought to ordinary day-to-day items, and how they can plan ahead for retirement days by making sensitive to purchases now. It might just be prudent to put some of today's money into common utilitarian items that you want to last, and don't dearth to have to purchase again when your income is lower. Or, you may want to consider purchases now that will last, to make life easier later.

For model, instead of choosing a new heavy stoneware dinnerware set, it might make better sense to purchase a lighter melamine set that is comfortably lifted when you need to put it back on a high shelf after use.

Purchasing a newer style frying pan with a "helper cope with" that is easier to carry than a conventional pan with only one handle, could provide you with safer, more independent meal preparation later.

Steam mop?

I am quite the only wierdo in the world who loves cleaning my house, but there is one task I HATE. Mopping! Have any of you tried the steam mops? If so what well-disposed did you try and was it worth the money.
If you don't have a steam mop, maybe you just have a tip to make regular mopping easier. I exceptionally appreciate it!

The steam mop that Shark makes works in the final analysis well. The pads are washable, and it's really lightweight. It's like $140.00 but it's usefulness it.

I have not tried the steam mop, although I have seen it many times on the infomercials, and even at Objective. It seems like it would work really well but I have not coughed up the money for it. A few weeks ago I posted regarding these steam mops and got some easy on the eyes decent feedback. The only negative I was told is that you have to use distilled water. But would much rather pay for the water than scrub the floor on my hands and knees. Things Luck, and I feel your pain on mopping, do the floors ever get really clean??

The steam mop that Shark makes works de facto well. The pads are washable, and it's really lightweight. It's like $140.00 but it's merit it.
