Anyone ever used a Bissell Carpet Sweeper?

I want something to pick up rabbit pellets in our bunny room in a hurry. I had a swivel sweeper and it worked great, but it tore up after about 3 months, so my hubby asked me to find something a barely better made....
I bought one this week; I had to Gorilla Paste the handle together. But it works very well to pick up dust and hair off the area rugs; I was surprised at what a good job it did!
For rabbit pellets, wouldn't it be trounce just to get a small

Take a Non-Standard real good look at it, turn it upside down etc, I'm sure you will find the lever, or a pull knob, of some kind.
Then if that doesn't do it, substantiation out the Bissell web site. They may have a diagram on that unit. If not,
