Dyson launches its 'mini' vacuum cleaner – City DC26 TopNews United States

The Burg DC26 is a ‘mini’ vacuum cleaner model, the smallest one till date by any company, to be launched by Dyson – a mark that is associated with the manufacture of products like a wheel- less wheelbarrows and amphibious automobiles.

The company which boasts an over 20 percent dole out of the US vacuum cleaner market has especially designed the slick new City DC26 to cater to the needs of the people residing in nugatory flats.

Even though the DC26 is so small a vacuum cleaner that it can fit on a piece of A4 paper, Dyson has ensured that the £249.99-priced ‘mini’ contraption is packaged with the same ‘punch’ as its bigger counterparts – boasting 13 inner cyclones that use centrifugal effective to suck dirt.

Notwithstanding its small size, the 3.25kg DC26 is essentially manufactured with the ‘toughness’ part in mind. The tests of the device reveal that it can withstand 5,318 drops onto a hard floor and 10,000 beats against a metal madden.

How well does Dyson vacuum cleaners work compared to a normal?

I am in the light of buying a Dyson DC14 or DC15. How well would you rate these on a scale of 1-10 in comparison to a normal vacuum. Any problems or dislikes about them?

Likes: It sweeps like the confoundedly! When I first got mine it almost ripped the carpet off the floor. It's really powerful, is lightweight, and doesn't hamper.

Dislikes: It's all plastic and cheap looking. I haven't had any problems but my mother-in-law's hard up after two weeks and she had to take it back. It's expensive as all get out and so are the parts. You HAVE to trim any and all snags in your carpet because it will tangle on stuff other vacuums won't. I accidentally ran it over the phone rope and the sweeper snapped it in seconds! Be extra careful!!!

In all I would have to say it's a wonderful sweeper that is well worth the fortune. It's right up there with Orecks, and Rainbow sweepers. It's definitely a 10 on power and an 8 on durability...

it works 350 times better!

Too well! They don't separate when to stop sucking. I cant quite believe anyone would actually use one of these contraptions in their home. Have you ever emptied one after hoovering and seen how much carpet it lifts never disposition how much dirt.

Are Dyson Vacuum Cleaners good compared to other models?

A vacuum cleaner is putative to do just that: clean! And that’s what my old vacuum wasn’t doing. And it was so
heavy! Recently I read about Dyson Vacuum Cleaner in a site (http://www.dysonvaccumcleanerreview.com ). Is it
honestly lighter than the one which are there in the market. Doesn’t it have a bag to dispose like in other
conventional models?

The review article link you posted stated that Dyson Vacuum Cleaners are among the heavier and pricier vacuum cleaners on the market. I am a big believer in most of the research Consumer Reports does and it lists Dyson, but not as a reputable option. Most of them do have a bag to dispose of like most upright models but some do not.

I have purchased the Eureka Boss Smart Vac Ultra 4870, and it is awe-inspiring. It was only around $125 but it is great and easy to use. It is also a Consumer Report "Best Buy" and that is against vacuums in the 3, 4, 5 hundred and even $1350 fee range! It is heavier than I expected (about 20 pounds) but it really kicks some butt when in use. Again, it is so simple to rod from carpet to hardwood to the hose and has a clip to lock the power cord in place so it's not always in the way.

Does anyone know when Dyson vacuum cleaners will go on sale?

I grasp that all Dyson vacuums go on sale everywhere that sells them at the same time.

Thanks in advance.

I bought mine at Lowe's it was not advertised as being on on sale, I saved over 100.00. When I went to the front it range up on sale
(they are very good, I love mine )
